The Tui (Parson;s Bird) is a native of New Zealand. Considered a coward for some miss deeds by the Maori, he is still strongly admired for his amazing voices. Yes, two of them, he has two voice boxes and is capable of simultanious sounds. He'll do original recordings and cover versions of other bird song as well. From squacks, chirps, trills and full song, this guy is a natural. Previously endangered, they are making a strong come-back aroud Wellington. They love to eat the necture from Flax plants, so they always must hang upside-down to get into the flowers. This guy gave me a two minte concert that after one minute, I was able to move to get better sound with less wind. It was a breezy day, what can say, it's the Welly way.
