  • Hurricane Creekkeeper and Friends of Hurricane Creek are announcing with this video, the "Get The Dirt Out Tuscaloosa" campaign.

It is time for the community to learn how to take charge of our neighborhoods and protect our waterways.

    No one else will!

  • thank you so much for supporting Hurricane CREEKKEEPER and Black Warrior RIVERKEEPER!

    cheers to cleaner water,

  • Thanks, Mr. Wathen. I'm glad Friends of Hurricane Creek exist. I support both the national organization and local riverkeepers, like Black Warrior Riverkeeper.

My cousin has reported the same siltation culprits in Russell County and other areas. It is helpful to know about siltation, for one may know of many enviro-problems, but be ignorant of siltation, often a local issue. Being eco-friendly isn't only about reducing greenhouse gases, or getting phylates out of plastic food containers etc!
