absolutely over rated hysteria. The city was not devastated, as it was not flattened, people did not die in their tens of thousands.
I was there. Stil am, I have NO intention of moving out of town. My house was totally untouched. I regard the journalistic hype as completely irresponsible, and my trust in them has dropped accordingly

Hoy would you feel if you lost ALL of your family belongings, YOUR house, not being able to go ANYWHERE because of destroyed roads, having sewage going EVERYWHERE, and having NO running water or NO electricity? That's exactly the case for about 30% of the population here. Now get over yourself and have some fucking sympathy. I'll bet you have some relatives here who are in this situation. Or maybe you're just a snob who thinks that nothing can go wrong. Can someone help me out here?
