I have a feeling that her accompanying tape was running slow, therefore being a quarter-tone flat from where she was playing. It's not a big issue anymore because of digital sound, but analog cassette players used to do that from time to time. I think Stacy gets points for going through with a performance she knows will be awful from the first beat, and is still able to maintain her composure and smile for a long 3 minutes.
