Abbas submits Palestine statehood bid, gets standing ovation at UN

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas got a standing ovation while addressing the UN General Assembly - shortly after submitting the bid for full statehood to the UN chief.

Muslims who murder to further Islam are not twisting Islam. That's what Mohammed himself did. Christianity can be twisted that way, but not Islam, since that is the nature of the BEAST of Islam. Jesus preached peace and love, Mohammed taught wars of aggression. The 2 religions are totally different in character.

I suppose my overal point is ANY relgion can be twisted to fit evil purposes by bad people, hell I saw a few weeks a go a disturbing documentry about Catholics who supported the Nazis and had a red flag icon with a white circle and instead of the swatstica they had a christian cross in the centre, quite disturbed me to be honest.

The differance is these people and the facist organization they supported was crushed, Muslim extremism is not bound in any one nation that can be targetted.

retaking of land is not the problem, indeed I know my history and know the Muslims did indeed try to invade Europe, my bringing up the crusades as a bad point was the brutal murder in extreme excessivness. Because the Pope granted to all crusaders forgivness for any actions they undertook so they could rape/ loot and murder as much as they wanted and as there was no contral commander just individual crusad eforces, one group could spare innocent people for the next group to torture to death.

If Mohammed had not aggressively taken over Christian lands there would have been no Crusades. The purpose of the Crusades was to take-back those lands. Everyone overlooks that FACT.

the sad thing is other cultures ALLOW the worst members of the Muslim faith to keep acting as they do and give others a bad name, one Muslim here in the UK successfully got off rape charges as he claimed he was raised Muslim and told the judge he assumed woman should be treated like dirt and he was not branded a paedophile for sleeping with a 12 year old girl he groomed as he was not aware of the laws of the United Kingdom...

so I suppose aggressive/intolerance to other faiths and dishonesty is not the fault of the relgion but the practitioner of said faith and I am not giving those muslims that do all this a free pass but considering that many muslims in countries recieve no education whatso ever it is hardly a suprise to me that they are told to "hate those guys over there" and follow the words of there corrupt leaders to the letter.

well the thing about Muslims is they recognize Jesus as a prophet along with other christian prophets so Muslims do not inherently believe in differant things and have differant values, you are spot on with the faith being waaay to far tied into politics and several countries have atrocious womans rights abuses no doubt.

The thing is with religion, it can be so easily used for a tool of evil, I mean hell Christianity was warped into a tool to launch crusades which led to genocide.

Jesus taught only peace and love. Mohammed taught war and hate. I dislike the Moslem cult because I find its practices, its teachings, the culture it promotes, and its treatment of women repugnant. Not only that, it is way too politically oriented, aggressive and DISHONEST, and intolerant of other faiths.
