  • Absolutely gutted that we couldn't get to see these fellas at the Beaverwood Club last mth. Life just sort of gets in the way of things sometimes!!

Hoping that the 8th Dec gig is still going ahead? We'll be there - on skis if we have to!

  • the real deal baby!

  • They have an EP out now which you can get via their website - just google "King King Blues" and you can buy the CD direct from their site. There's an album in the works too, watch this space! I'm not affiliated to them in any way, just love their music and highly recommend their EP!

  • sounding good young nim ,Davie stu

  • just heard them for the 1st time on the radio.. i loved it!!! do they have a cd out??? can anyone tell me please as cant seem to find anything!!

  • Caught Alan Nimmo supporting my all-time favs the Fab T'Birds at The Ferry, G'gow, April '08.

Thought he was a brilliant support act.

Very pleased to see that King King are playing fairly local to us next Thursday (Kent). Think we might take a drive over to grab some more of this (my all-time fav FT track ever btw x)

  • i went to see these guys last night for the first time and they was fukin awesome

  • yeah, groovin' ....

  • Why, only my home town of Glasgow, Jay! Well, the rest of the band is from elsewhere in the UK. Anyway, Al's a buddy of mine. Search for "Nimmo Brothers" - there are quite a few vids of him with his brother stevie, that being alan's main band, which is more towards the rock end of blues. King King is Alan's solo project, which is straight ahead blues, as i'm sure you can tell! Him and his brother really are outstanding players (and singers).

  • all over, alans from glasgow the rest of the band are english
