I'm in the program now and OrigProdigy is right about pretty much everything I've seen him post here so far. It's a 90 not 90%. It's a raw score that tops out at 174 I think. It is competitive, but a given number of slots go to civilians each year. Just part of keeping a wide demographic of pilots in the Army. Talk to a recruiter and request entry into the Warrant Officer program if you want to fly. Take the AFAST and do well. AFAST For Dummies... Study guide. Use it. And get a good PT score.
@Captus15 Once you've scored above a 90 (the grading scale goes above 100) there's no retaking the test, but yes, your packet can sit at the USAREC board I believe for 2 selections. If 2 boards meet and you haven't been picked up you're more than likely not going to. They either give you a yes, no, or they hold it over to the next board though is what I've been told.
@OrigProdigy Mmmm.. interesting... if you not get selected the first time even if you score aboce 90 u have chance to still get selected in a future?.....
@Captus15 well.. first i though u where saying that from civilian status you submit this package and the you jump to flight school with the ''street to seat'' program.. that is what i though u was saying.. Now u speak clearly and it make sense... Nice debate though.. and thumbs up for you father

@OrigProdigy I believe you can retake the test in six after you take it the first time.
