If you're just jumping into Palm Pre use - or WebOS use for that matter - for the first time, you'll want to check this out. I suggest 3 areas of interest you'll want to keep on the top of your head: (1) Menu, (2) Gesture area, (3) Card View button.

Making the Pre easy... or is that Preasy?

  • @TheTrueTechCentury umm the iPhone 3G is +3 years old...

  • What is the last WebOS version support the Palm Pre ?? i like this phone i thing buy one, great video!

  • While the Multitasking is cool, my general impression is that the UI is difficult to use and unintuitive. A "back gesture" is a great example of how engineers tend to over think things (I'm an engineer, so I can say that). Really a back button would have sufficed. Also there's too many areas where it's too small to click.

Don't mean to offend anyone but these are my impressions. The fact that you seem to be an expert on this interface and yet even you are having problems speaks volumes.

  • Free webOS apps and games.

  • How many times you said OUPS? this doesn't mean you are not good at reviews, but I think the WebOS not so cool and this phone is slow, sometimes it seems to respond quickly and sometimes it's slow.

  • Hey just spoke to a Sprint Supervisor and he stated that due to the fractured business venture with Palm they are only focusing on Android. They will not be caring HP Phones for the forseeable future. They just let me out of my contract. Ordered my Pre 2 will be here on Wed according to Verizon.

  • Good review!

  • nice one

  • thanks good review and interesting
