  • this reminds me of the scene in zoolander when ben stiller and the other guy were so stupid that they didn't know how to use the computer, and they started beating up the computer and smashing it because the information was IN the computer, so they thought they had to destroy it and get the info. same concept here, you got a heavy bag, that your supposed to punch to get power, simple right? and you have idiots who don't know what to do with it, creating pointless stupid excercises like this!

  • @CalebCarpenterUFL because they buy really crappy heavy bags, instead of buying heavy bags with quality exterior that wont rip after extended use. good advice: buy a heavy bag made with QUALITY material, so you wont have to tape it up.

  • My bag weighs 65kgs, I'm still giving this a shot.

  • @CalebCarpenterUFL

I'm sure both of the other things are true, but I do it so that the bottom doesn't get dense after constant use. Kinda like a tourniquet.

  • @CalebCarpenterUFL The bags start to crack and split as they get old and used a lot. You can get many more years use from taping them when they do.

  • dude i love all ur vids , im in ur fan site :D

  • @CalebCarpenterUFL Because they get worn away after people beating the shitskii out of um ..

  • @CalebCarpenterUFL As the bag wears, they

repair it using duct tape, rather than replace.

  • Thanks - I've been playing with ideas along these lines for our dojo. Some good seeds :)

  • Cool. Gonna have to try these.
