Are you guys being for real? Get over it, he's wearing shin-pads and what? yes training without gear makes pain more bearable but its stupid to injury yourself in training than in a fight. he wont have those shin pads in a fight but then again he wouldnt be worried about getting injured either. If you cannot appreciate then FUCK OFF this video.

@kikichuyo for people who use gear they need to train with it on to get used to kicking with it on. If you're not in a martial arts school that uses it then just do it with the gear off. This is a concept on training the same as closely to the situation you want to get better in. For example here I'm training for sparring techniques, so I wear gear.
