This is one of my favorite games, and it's different from the other two Streets of Rage games. The Japanese version of this game, Bare Knuckle 3, is a lot easier than this US version. Also, this game used the 6-button controller for the SEGA Genesis.

And here's how you can get the unlockable characters in this stage. To play as Shiva, hold B after killing him. Ash is another story. He was removed from the American version of the game because he was a stereotypical homosexual. To play as him, you first have to be playing the Japanese version (Bare Knuckle 3). Hold A after killing Ash. I'll tell you about Roo in the next part.
