i get why you would think that flemish sounds like this.. flemish looks like phlegmish, right? well, flemish is just the english term, we call it vlaams... and vlaams doesn't sound particularly gutteral, it's one of the softer spoken germanic languages. what you did sounds molre like dutch from the netherlands, they do have a fairly hard gutteral sound going on.

i think you're confused as this is dutch, not flemish... the flemish don't do that gutteral thingy that our northern neighbours do ;)
