Actually your wrong, the airshow rules which permit the aircraft to fly over the crowds were the German rules, which cannot be changed by the Americans, .

And there's the beautiful little EAP sat behind him in the static display - if only the RAF had fielded that instead of waiting another 20 years for the essentially similar Eurofighter.

If you cared to listen to what the man says, they state that security at Farnborough was number one priority because of what previously had happened at Ramstein airbase. There was a huge crash there during an air show just a week before.
Nobody has said that THIS CLIP was made at Ramstein
'If there is an accident, the aircraft will not impact in the crowd'. No, it will impact on St Christopher's estate (where I grew up) and will probably flatten a block of flats full of sluttish teenage single mums and their screaming children. Actually, now I think about it...
