I know that what you say is true, My late Dad studied all his life and taught me what he knew, I have sought also, after my Dad passed away, I saw him in the house for a long time afterwards. @jatigre1 The definition of spirituality is relative to your perception of it. Deepak's view of spirituality is essentially related to consciousness. So far counsciousness cannot be explained only in terms of neurology, science etc. There's a few missing parts. IR and UV lights you are talking about are only electromagnetic radiations like visible light, only with a frequency we can't see only with just our eyes. It's no more or no less spiritual than everything else we observe in the universe.

@jatigre1 and also if hes trying to convince ppl NOT to think hes doing a really shitty job because what he says makes me what to delve deeper into understanding Consciousness it makes me want to do more research then i have already done, it doesnt stop me in my tracks, it gets me more interested.

@jatigre1 and NDE should tell u there is another side to just the physical aspect of what we experience. if ur a fish in the sea and u never see a human it doesnt mean humans dont exist, it just means u cant perceive them

@jatigre1 but its only a 13min video and he explains at the beginning that he doesnt have enough time go over everything, and he doesnt discount science, in other videos of him that i have seen he talks extensively about science and the breakthroughs that science has made of our understanding of the universe and how things work, also he is a Dr. so why would he contradict himself in that aspect. and he did mention that there are alot of ppl out there that have NDEs, also you mentioning psychics

@brycehoff He's completely forgetting the thousands of accounts on NDEs worldwide every day, he's not mentioning the help that psychics give to the police in solving crimes and locating missing people. He's ignoring the history of science from Medeleev to Tesla and he's ignoring all the scientific data that can explain things like the formation of planets and life. He's a "spiritual Guru", so his job is to convince people, not to think.

I'm sorry to say this but, I believe Mr Chopra doesn't really know what's going on. We live in a physical Universe and we didn't even introduced the "Aether" in our local schools yet. Trying to explain something rational with "Archetypes and Potential" is just playing the old "I don't know the answer, so I'll just say whatever I can thing". We can peek into the "spiritual realm" just by using infra red and ultra violet imagery, so there's nothing scary out there.
