@MadNDesign Thank you so much for getting back to me... I am using vers 2010, took your advice..and got one side to move right, but always have one side that won't work, seems which ever side I do first will work, the other side moves incorrectly or twists if that makes sense to you? It's just frustrating even more now lol because I did get one to work right, I've even started over from scratch thinking I made mistakes along the way, which I had...and that didn't seem to fix it...I'm at a loss

I have the same problem. My map isn´t moving with the bones. Done this twice now and still have the same problem.

Hi there...having a problem with getting my wing bones to move my wings correctly...one will move, one pivots the entire thing? No matter how I change it, it still pivots, instead of moving how it should....any suggestions?? I'm frustrated :( Please help? I know my vertices were selected properly...has to be something else.

@519Spydr Skinning can be tricky, it just takes some trial and error sometimes to get it right. My suggestion would be to delete the skin modifier and start over. just make sure that when you select each wing bone that you have the vertices you want it to effect set to 1.0 and the ones you don't want it to effect set to 0. Depending on which version of Max that you have, it can take a few tries to get it right, because there are all sorts of odd errors that happen with older versions.

@SaiyaShadowWolf You can download all of the avatars from the education center. Just search for "avatar animation files" from the tutorials sections and you will see the download links.
