The translation is incorrect. It is not "dueña de las dueñas" in castillian, but "dama de las damas"="dona das donas"

@Seleukos En la traducción oficial suelen poner dueña de las dueñas. Dueña es sinónimo de dama, aparte de tener más significados como esposa en galicia y viuda en el portugal de aquel tiempo.

El Dona galaico-portugués se refiere a señora, dama o dueña.

No veo que tenga que haber ninguna polemica lingüistica sobre este video ni sobre las cantigas, hay mucha gente que se aburre de sus vidas.

La cuestion es muy sencilla el galaico-portugues fue durante la edad media una lengua literaria muy querida y respetada tambien en castilla, donde los reyes, nobles y otras personas lo aprendian por lo bien que sonaba a la hora de componer poesia y musica, ademas el castellano y el galaico-portugues eran dialectos en aquella epoca, luego se distanciaron mas

@proletinkult Pf. "Linguagem" ou "romanço" seica. Hahaha. Por moito que non o queiras ver, non vas tapar o sol cun dedo. O galego chámase galego dende o século XII. "Vulgaris Gallecia lingua" é o termo máis antigo documentado, dentro e FÓRA de Galicia, porque xa podes comprobar como tamén se utilizaba fóra dela. Os casteláns tamén lle chamaban "linguagem" ou lle chamarían doutra maneira para distinguila da súa?
