Patti looks like she's wearing a hairdresser's jacket in this; I was expecting combs and scissors to come flying out of the pockets when she whipped her jacket off! lol
That said, I never knew she had those killer legs; almost as nice as Tina's!

i think season 5 was the best!, so many hits, exciting performances like patti's and of course rick dees was cool!

I remember Solid Gold, and a lot of times the artist were asked to lip synch. I always hated that!

go ahead miss patti, her outfit is almost as short as the solid gold dancers. i really wish they would put solid gold on dvd.

You know, she performed this another time on Solid Gold with the dancers and at the end, before commercial break, she vamped and sang over the track, live. Do you have that performance too? I believe it aired right before season six began, if I am not mistaken. Rick Dees was not the host, it was right before Dionne Warwick returned. It was that short period when each week a different celebrity would host, maybe Ray Parker Jr. I can't remember specifically.
