Russians have this expression, "English humor", which means 'it's not funny'! The reason is that Russian language is very poor and therefore crippled translation loses all the humor. I've seen many operas and other performances translated from English to Russian, and it is butchery of the art, especially when they butcher it even more by trying to make it rhyme. So the solution is - learn English.

So, I ride horses and where I ride there's one that's named Monty Python. Inadvertantly, I find myself humming Monty Python songs. Of course, I prefer this one to be stuck in my head as I'm riding versus "Look on the Bright Side of Life"...
