I think the cartoons were definitely better, though they made a pretty good effort with this series.

my only problem with the series is that "spoon!!!!!!!!!" was never yelled i still loved it though too bad it never continued

was the animated series done by the same people who did king of the hill or something. The style looks familiar.

I was a huge fan of the animated series.
I don't think the live action version was as good but I think it was as good as it could have been.
I just dont think the surreal world of The Tick translates to live action as organically as it does to animation.
I am not dissing this series. This series had great charm and was the best product they could have hoped for I think. I'm just saying why I liked the animated series better.
