I agree, John Haynes Newton {aside from being a bit short} DEFINITELY had the face, eyes and bearing of Superboy, as well as looking HEAVILY like a younger Chris Reeve [the EPITOME of the supermen]. I also prefered the more laidback, shyish, slightly awkward Clark to the outright GEEK Clark Butler played. But i have to give Gerard his props: he pulled the older, "geek Kent" off. You know he ACTUALLY ran down a mugger and saved a woman's life before he took this role?

Please. Christopher's Superman was not a BORE as Gerard is. John Haymes had more the look for the role.
