@o0Slipdisc0o Shawn Lane died of a lung disease that was most likely related to illnesses that he was dealing with from birth. To pick up a smoking habit ON TOP of all the other stuff he had to deal with health wise was STUPID!!! I read that he died at the hospital after the doctors told him he would have to live on additional oxygen for the rest of his life. He was CARELESS AT BEST!!! Don't be a jackass on this. Jonas should of kicked his ass for smoking!!!

@HMG5588 What an egocentric and assbackwards position to take. The man's physical problems were too complex and broad to justify your overly simplified "reduced to stupid habit" theory. The guy liked to smoke, who are we or you to judge him like that? If this was his choice, than I for one am glad he enjoyed it while he could. Every other possible outcome is mere speculation and downright despicable towards his loved ones. After all, they just had to put out the cig. It's that simple people!

You see that cigarette on his guitar's tuner head??? If some one stepped up to him and put that cigarette out, we fans of Shawn would still be seeing him play live. Given all the medical conditions he was struggling with, why would he compound them with smoking??? What a shame to know that Shawn is no longer alive because of a stupid habit.
