Josephine Bridges and Vince Nelson

Josephine Bridges to me is a lady who helped rear me. She and her late husband were very good fiends of my parents. She started a well known grope of Women of Color called the Jugs. She also was founder along with Tom Nixon of Stripe Productions. They worked with STAX RECORDS and formed the well know Temprees. Her latest credit is the hit "Teenage Love Affair" by Alicia Keys. She along with Tom Nixon and Carl Hampton wrote the song. Josephine still has it at 80 years old. She is the person to go to when stars come to Memphis Tennessee. She is known for her amazing promotional skills and her no frills way of being. She is the same lady that I have always known. Indeed Josephine Bridges is one of a kind.

Had Alicia Keys came along during the 60's and 70's I believe Stax/Volt would've snatched her up in a heartbeat.
