It doesn't matter who or what you are, but be proud of who or what you are. God save the Queen.

@BlueAndWhiteZebra The first time I saw this video I was moved.your father sings with great warmth, I am very envious of this, in my country we get a result like that just only for the World Cup....and not always

I think we should leave this futile discussion, don't you think? It's getting way too serious and heavy, which i find inadequate for such a matter! Great you recorded it, thanks for that! I made fun of that singing, which, in my opinion, "destroyed" a bit the music! But know what? It's not an existential problem! It's fun! All the best and thanks for posting and answering! Bless
Oh my God Almighty, have mercy upon us all! Why do we have to listen to those voices of someone who obviously cannot intonate properly, let alone has a good voice! Pity! Fortunately he didn't know all the lines, so he ended shutting up! Nevertheless this marvellous anthem is indistructable!

@Rotebuehl1 really? Are you serious? So, you clearly believe only those people who can sing to a standard acceptable to you should be allowed to sing at a concert where the audience are encouraged to sing? Okay, I don't know the words to the second verse. I imagine 95% of the population don't either. Even in the Hall, the second verse is clearly quieter than the first. But to actually take the time to tell everyboby that you find that annoying...... you must be a very lonely person.

@Rotebuehl1 Actually, the guy dressed in pink next to me was much worse. ANd the guy to the very right is my dad. Now he does know both verses sung (all three verses in fact) but can sing no better than me. So was my crime then to sing, or to record it? (Although in fairness my intention, as such, was not to record my singing, but the concert itself. Youtube wasn't around then.) And had I not recorded, over 111,000 people wouldn't have clicked on this link and many thousands actually enjoyed it!

The Diagonal Red Cross using the White background I believe is St Davids Cross.

@steveleadbeater Er.....St David's cross is a yellow cross on a black background. The diagonal red cross on the Union Flag is the cross of St Patrick representing Northern Ireland. The current Union Flag comprises the flags of St Andrew (Scotland) St Patrick (Northern Ireland) and of course St George (England) The welsh are not involved...
