  • Encore un morceau d'anthologie*****

  • essa musica e muito linda tipico brasil de verdade

  • @kaattelle Hi! I was happy about your interest in my language! I would like to know yours too.

Well, your understanding about the lyrics is almost close to the correct.

The first verse is more close to:

"Every Bahian girl has a saint* which God gives"

*Saint, in the context of the lyrics, refers to the afro-brazilian religions, a spiritual guide.

And instead of "facility", I think "way" ("a personal way to do stuffs") fits better.

Can send me a message if you want!

    ;)

  • @neofunkyman1 First you need to know:

    1. Bahia = Brazilian state where the portuguese first arrived in 1500

    2. "Baiana" = girl from Bahia

    3. Pelourinho (Pillory) = place where the slaves were beaten. In Salvador (Bahia's capital), this name designates it's historic center

    4. Santo (saint) = In the context of the lyrics, it refers to the afro-brazilian religions and it's saints, like a spiritual guide

Now I think google translate and the others users help can make it clear!

  • Esta musica tiene la magia de mudar mi estado de animo en pocos segundos y fico Feliz...un elixir !

Cariños para todos y muy Feliz 2012 !

  • @neofunkyman1 Google Trad is your friend ;)
