I like the tune, i think it's fantastic, very smooth and relaxing...i like Mancini's version although the first time i've ever heard the song Oscar Peterson was leading the trio

Thanx makithecat for posting this great Mancini standard. I love the slide show too. This song takes us back to a kinder & gentler time. Some may think the lyrics are demeaning & sexist. but they are not. This song just expresses the love,honor, & high esteem in which the lyracist the late Bobby Troup & composer the late Neal Hefti held women in. The late Henry Mancini's arranagement is classic. It's pure Mancini.Todays young artist could take a lesson from these three Great Men.

I have the album on which this tune was first heard. Mancini is a the greatest, for all his work. but more for his respect for a classic tune by one of his co-composers. Thank you Hank. Thank you Neal. Much joy I feel in your works.
