@brenkj I guess it all depends on how you define clean. It has more than enough headroom for me, but I don't ever like things set crystal clean. With single coils it has plenty, humbuckers, maybe not enough for some folks.

@63strat63 Thanks! It really has the Vox shimmer/grind with the EF-86. The master volume works really well. Like I said, this was at bedroom volume. Not a great recording, but you can tell it retains a TON of dynamics even with the master so low you could talk over the amp.
