Does Tom Emmer want to cut wages for waiters and waitresses? At a town hall he held in a restaurant, the Republican endorsed candidate for Minnesota Governor repeatedly insisted he does not. But no matter how it is implemented, the "tip credit" policy he says Minnesota needs would reduce the earning power of servers, which angered many in the crowd.

  • @Rhinoceroswellness my server paychecks pay my rent, if i lived in my moms basement i wouldnt need my paychecks either...

  • I know alex zaholsky and he lives in his moms basement, doesn't see his daughter who lives in madison, and works in a direct marketing company where his role model joe delisle is a die hard republican. I have nothing against republicans, alex is taking his dream to have a residual income selling vitamins for a direct marketing company, and taking advice from joe who makes 20k a month, and has republican wiewpoints. alex's opinion is becuase of a brainwahing influence (joe) he has in his life.

  • I used to earn minimum wage delivering pizzas. I did it 20 hours per week to supplement my meager income when I first started my own business. I don't know how some full time servers can claim to make so little. I made $6.15/hr + tips 4 nights per week for 5 hours. That's $123/week which is $6396/year, plus I rarely made less than $50, usually $60 or $70, but for argument's sake let's say $50. That's $10,400/year to make a total yearly income of $16,796 and that's part time Not bad money I think

  • @IrishChristopher the guy said rudely, "where is the father?", ie where is HER father. and some other poeple started calling him an asshole. I would suppose her father is probably dead, or not around, probably left the mother with 16 children. pwerhaps they were cqtholic or right wing christian. thats what happens when u dont have family planning rights. get used to it if palin wins

  • @soicuw yea same. too bad all the candidates suck.

  • @LIGHTRONIX at this point I am leaning towards Emmer but would possibly support Tom Horner if he becomes viable in this race.

  • @soicuw well said. im curious who you support?

  • Sadly, these problems are not just in Minnesota, but the entire Untied States. Go get 'em servers... and feed the scraps to the sharks.

  • I don't necessarily support Tom, but I have to say he certainly held his own against an unfriendly crowd, and managed to give his position truthfully and explain it well.

  • i have him at the tax cut ralley, he used a guy for a photo op background and never thanked him. he has an agenda thats the governership. he doesnt care. im going to post it if i can cut the video up into section
