re principals dancing soloist roles in Bayaderka, Ratmansky states that this was a "surprise present" to Parisians to have 3 prima ballerinas dance together.. He also states that this would NEVER happen back in Moscow.

I can't believe this is 2008. Why do they have 2 principals (Allash and Alexandrova) dancing as shades? So when the Gamzattis are taking time off they spy on Nikiya in the underworld? That must be generous casting.
