i named my son jefferson as a tribute to this legend and when he was young we called him fresh lemon jefferson....

I'm glad we (some of us) still sing these traditional spirituals and hymns in church. More meaning in them (in my opinion) than this modern gospel.

@lenabug2202 It's a traditional spiritual, "He arose from the dead". There are several variations of lyrics however. There is an arrangement by Ronald Nelson you can find lyrics for.
