Charming version for sure. However, the original song from which this version is allegedly taken ;o) is far more poetic and beautiful to listen to. The alleged original by Allan Caswell, sung by Lynne Hamilton. What do you think? Pure coincidence? ;o)

It is a PROUD symble of my and millions more southern hertage and symbolize millions of lives that were lost during a sensless war between brothers, fathers, sons. This time period of most sensless war ever will never be forgotten by some and this flag will always remind us (southerns) of this tragedy. @death6998 , the confederate flag is a symbol of hatred and bigotry when man enslaved other men , this is NOT christain. this is a sad statement of the ignornance of SOME peope who live in the south , that horrrible flag has no place in a beautiful Christmas song...you have my pity!!!!!

Being Southern Born and Southern Bred, it's hard to be away from during the holidays. I found this song many years ago, and it made being gone even harder. But a greater song I haven't found.

This song brings back happy memories of Christmas - listened to this on cassette years ago in the car on the way to my parents for Christmas. I can remember the kids saying "oh no, not the Christmas music again"! But then they got into as well. Merry Christmas to all of you from Illinois!
