sorry bcrnfan but the term is correct. they are reffered to wide cabs. thats what the W stands for in CW like the CW-40-8 od C-40-8W as some people say.

Nice video, but there isn't such a thing as a 'wide cab'. The only thing wider is the nose. You will notice that the cab doesn't stick out from the frame. The proper name is 'comfort cab'.

Yep! We were down on the right side of that crossing where the cars went across in the beginning then though.

He now runs trains from Hawthorne (Chicago) To Dubuque IA. No, we just get BNSF power on trains from time to time.
