Syreeta Wright (August 3, 1946 July 6, 2004), who recorded professionally under the single name Syreeta, was a Grammy-nominated American singer-songwriter.

My favorite track by Syreeta from my favorite album by her. The whole album is a winner, but that isn't a surprise as Stevie Wonder is the producer.

Stevie Wonder I know has had much respect and plaudits and awards over the years. But really his muisc should be celebrated far more than it is. This is just purely stunning. I must get around to doing a version.....

Growing up with the instrumental cover by Jeff Beck, I'm absolutely amazed to discover the original after all this time. Beautiful in every way.

@eqsmooth actually if you got this when you were 13 then we're the same age!! And I actually heard this version BEFORE I heard the Beck version. I love them both! You can hear the pain in the Beck COVER but I feel that you can hear even more just because of the lyrics in this version. And this ORIGINAL version is definately more haunting. And why do I have to be an idiot? Why can't we just enjoy good music together and be done with it? I'm sure Jeff and Stevie would sit around arguing about it.

@nidiaaw1 You are an idiot who can't spell or write in English. Jeff Beck owns this and has for longer than you've been alive. I had his version when I was 13. Back then no one knew this was by by Stevie. This version is terrible.
