Sorry for bad video- and sound quality. This was filmed from my reserve camera. It's not even possible to zoom with that camera while it's recording.

  • So what happened there? Pushkar won the first, Cyplenkov the second? How did they determine a winner?

  • @kasparov9 Denis was undefeated here in the final and Pushkar had lost once to Denis in the qualifications. Now Pushkar had to win twice in the final to win, and Denis only had to win once.

  • @WorldofArmwrestling the pin was illegal. He pulled the whole table. That's why Pushkar had to let go.He couldn't maintain balance .They should of repeated this second match. The table should of been bolted to the floor. The organisers fault lost Pushkar the match. I'm not a Pushkar fan or a Cyplenkov hatter , but that's the fact.

  • @bogdychamp Hmm.. I can't say you are wrong about this, but my own opinion is that in this case the movement of the table may not have been the reason for Cyplenkov's win. What I can see the movement was already going in Cyplenkov's favour when the table started to move, and after the table is moving it is only a matter of a second before Pushkar is down in the pad, and what I could see it's not because of the movement of the table.

  • I think he would have lost in the same way even if the table wouldn't have moved. But again, that's just my opinion.

I agree though that the table should be bolted to the floor during tournaments, and what I've understood the organizers have solved the problem after this incident, so hopefully we won't see these uncertain situations again.

  • I was planning on cutting those last few seconds away from the clip but I obviously forgot it... well well... : /

  • денис чемпион!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • DENIS IS BEAST AND SUCH A NICE GUY!!!

  • This really is an embarrassing sport, its not even determined by "Strength" anymore, its a matter of "shifting weight" the quickest.

This sport should involve being "seated" - with tables bolted down constantly, so the pure strength comes from the arm to wrist.

  • @fitzmorris i was saying that when they lifted the table in the air,Pushkar lost his balance and couldn't armwrestle anymore.Maybe he would of lost , maybe not; the thing is they should of repeated the second match.

  • @bogdychamp you think that pushkar could have won that match? cyplenkov stopped him dead and pulled him over the advantage point. besides to me it looked liked pushkar was moving the table with his hip. my mind both are very good but cyplenkov scares me! (btw first time checking this out, and first time I've even heard of cyplenkov.)

  • @WorldofArmwrestling if the organizers have solved the problem that's good news for the future.

  • @WorldofArmwrestling Cyplenkov had the upperhand, but Pushkar still had a chance to recover , even from that position.I'm not saying he would of definately done that , but still he had a chance, even though it was a small one.
