  • THIS HASNT BEEN COMENTED ON FOR A YEAR!

  • My hard drive is making funny noises...

At night, it tells me to kill them all.

  • Eye-Fi? WAY too slow. With their recent upgrade, transfer rates are up to 700KB/sec. My current xfer rates are 20-40MB/sec, and it still takes me upwards of 20 minutes to dump all of my cards.

Between my assistant and I, there are ~1,500-2,500 pictures per game @ ~12MB per picture. That's 18-30GB. When I'm on a deadline, these things matter.

My fastest card reader uses Firewire 800, but that only works on my desktop. On the road, I'm stuck with 20MB/sec USB 2.

  • You'll need a new camera... Why not get the Eye-fi stuff and just have the SD card beam it directly to a pc?

  • Wow.. lmao... a RuneScape Video in the related vids. =P I'm so glad Mobuzz Is going to be around for a long time. I couldn't imagine not watching it before I go to school.

  • It will probably take a few months (year) for it to hit the market I think.

  • Sweet. I need USB 3 to speed up my downloads from my camera's CF and SD cards. I'm spending 20 minutes downloading them after a photo shoot now. (~1GB/min)
