[PROTOTYPE] on GMA x3100

Notice = Game doesn't run as slow as in this video. And sorry for the half-sized quality and soft audio.

Runs more like Assassin's Creed. Since this is totally large open world game, expect lags at certain areas and occasions. But this game is relatively playable! And I as a GMA x3100 user had fun with this awesome game! But of course, don't play this game when FRAPS is recording the game all the time!

REQUIREMENTS TO GET GAME WORKING PROPERLY
- Core 2 Duo 2Ghz
- 2 GB RAM
- Windows 7
- Latest Default driver/Modded driver (recommended)
- 3d-analyzer
- Intel Display Adapter Management Tool

HERE'S WHAT SHOULD BE DONE BEFORE PLAYING....

1. Set game to software vertex mode via Intel Display Adapter Management Tool (http://i34.tinypic.com/2gv25w4.jpg)

2. open 3D-Anlayzer

3.Select prototypef.exe and check the following boxes...
. force SW TnL
. disable lighting
. emulate pixel shader caps
. emulate bump map caps
. emulate max sim textures

4. Run game or save batch file for convenience sake.

5. Remember to set game to lowest settings and lowest resolution!

I actually tried this game in high settings, but there's not much change in visuals, so low settings is actually good enough - or too good. (No wonder it lags)

@kronos1997 This probably points to your DirectX version. If I'm not mistaken, Prototype requires PS 3.0, and if you're trying to use 3DAnalyze, it probably means your video card doesn't support PS 3.0.

Respond to this video... What I would like to know is the uploader's PC specs. If the game appears laggy it's probably because the PCs spec suck and not necessarily the video card's fault.

Okay, I'm sooooo sick and tired of computer "know-it-alls" saying "why don't you upgrade your graphics card..., blah blah blah...". Most laptops, apart from some DELLs I know of are the only laptops with actual video cards installed in them and not IGP

If your game is laggy, look to your processor and NOT the video card. With a faster CPU you'll be able to use higher settings, and your FPS won't suck so bad!
