this little one is an absolute JOY! I am an uncle of three, and I have seen all 3 during this same age... and I don't even think they were this animated... I love seeing how intense they are when talking... they may not be able to formulate the words yet, but you know that brain is thinking up soooo many things...quite amazing...

he is cute . i have a two yr old little boy named carter though he doesnt have ds he doesnt talk at all so its really hard at times but you are truly blessed to have such an amazing child

Very cute little man, I love how animated he is. He is a bit of an eccentric old professor who has just gotten tenure. Even people who are not enrolled in his course skip class to watch. I also love the Carter Signing auditions.

I love how at the end, we find that he's been talking to the cat the whole time! ;) He is such a cutey! I was looking for signing videos for the little one I nanny for and came across Carter's audition. I can't wait to show him tomorrow! You are so blessed with this little guy!

Carter is sooo cute, he is quite the talker eh? LOL It will be really exciting when my son starts to talk. He says a couple words and signs too. He is 17 months old now, and he too has DS. It seems you are taking good care of your adorable little man. Love, Marriah & oconeeredneck,Downs syndrome is not at all the hardest syndrome for a child,look up trisomy 18 or 13. These days the sky is the limit when it comes to one with DS.How would you know anyway,because you met a girl with DS in school?

This little boy may have down syndrome but that has not taken away from his obvious innate intelligence. As a former preschool teacher, what I look for as indicators of intelligence are animation, curiousity, imagination and spark. Carter certainly has all that. This kid is going places! What a doll!

I have to ask is anyone in there with him? I hear someone at the end. I would not be able to keep from laughing it is so cute.

I actually set the camera down and then walked into the kitchen so I could watch him from there and not distract him. :o)
