  • These tracks sound killer so far. Has he ever performed that promo track "Skyscraper" live?

  • No mate, that song hasn't been fully released yet. That snippet is the only thing out there of it. I can't wait to here it also.

If you listen to the promo carefully. You can hear the new version of this song in that promo. The guitar piece right at the beginning is very similar to this song's.

  • wow!!! amazing!!!!! Paul is just an artist

Is curious that this album will be released before the interpol´s new album, they promoted before this, im scared is this the end of interpol?

  • No, the reason this album will be released before Interpol's is that Paul has been touring under Julian Plenti since before he was part of Interpol. So he has a big catalogue of songs. I guess he thought after the Our Love To Admire tour he had time to put together an album.

If you look on Interpol's website, there was an announcement back in March saying they were starting the album process. So it's not the end of Interpol, just they're doing their own thing.

  • The albums best I feel, the lyrics are the best on the album ' We've been through shaky time, but i'm glad you found your way, there was too much panic then, from here on it'll be straight all the way' this and Madrid Song make me feel in a state of Nirvana just as Interpol's epic soother 'Lighthouse' does, BANKS YOUR A GENIUS PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING MUSIC THE WORLD NEEDS YOU!!!!!!

  • It sounds kinda similar to a Interpol's song called Mascara.

    THIS SONG TOTALLY ROCKS!

  • That is far better then the cd-versioN! Wow!

  • That's ok! Thanks for the help.

  • No sorry, they were never recorded. There are a few live recordings out there of it, some better than the others.

Try to find a couple and compare the sound quality, is the best advice I can give on that!

    Sorry!

  • Is there a studio recording of any kind of Mascara? All I can find is a really faint sounding live version.

  • I think its closer to hands away

  • yeah! its good!

  • This is so damn beautiful. Paul is my favorite frontman of all time. It's very neat to see him kind of out of his element and writing songs like this too. He's so diverse.

  • He is sounding good, i know skyscraper is just a snippet on the website but it is sounding like a future classic
