  • So some are given a revelation.

    Some aren't.

    That's part of gods plan?

According to the bible if you don't believe in god then you are damned.

So your saying that it's part of gods plan to send some people to hell?

Really man you should probably make up better reasons than that.

    Have a nice day

    Matt

  • Oh no, I believe everyone is given it before they pass on. I didn't have it until i was 17. What if I died at 16? I wouldn't have because God knows the time of my death.

  • You're so full of shit your eyes are brown.

  • Thank you for the kind words brother, you are truely a man of character and resolve. The intelligence of you comment also is something to envy. Robbie, may I call you friend? It would be an honor.

  • I have seen a revelation by angel @ a young age and have since been revealed that the problem in christianity is not the belief in the existence of God.

Rather It is the problem of being like Jesus in helping those in need and to be HUMBLE in actions.

  • Amen.

  • I don't mean to have a debate or anything and I know that I went on for days, but I just wanted to have you think on this... Also last thing is this, if a cat ever tried to act like a dog, it would go back to it's cat ways because it's nature is that of a cat. Therefore if a non-christian believes that he was a Christian at some point in his life but went back to his non-christian ways. They were never a Christian at all, because a true dog will live its life as a dog would and not as cat does..

  • What John 3:16 meant was that he died to spread his blood on people OTHER than Jews. In the Old Testament, only his chosen Israel could be saved. Jesus Christ came to open salvation to the rest of the world, that means both Jew AND Gentile (Which were non-Jews). I went on a tangent, but in the end, God isn't saving EVERY single person (obviously). He is saving a select few (And they don't even deserve it) which are his elect. God's elect CANNOT reject his salvation and WILL be saved no question.

  • Well you put no faith in yourself and put all of your faith in the cross of Christ. That ONLY by God's hand can a person be saved, not by our futile efforts. Only if you put faith into God that the ONLY way you can do any form of God is through the hand and regenerating work of Christ. So yes, only some are given a revelation. Jesus Christ did not die to save EVERYONE, because that way he could fail if we all rejected him. But know this, Christ has not failed. When he died on that cross he won!

  • But Jesus Christ died to save his elect, and his elect WILL be saved because it is God that is going to work on them. If it was up to us saving ourselves, we would all surely be thrown into Hell. But Jesus Christ came so that he save us, and I'm telling you to put faith into Jesus because even if you tried your hardest, you couldn't of your own free will (since your will is evil). ONLY God can give you the gift of faith. So once you have that faith, what do you put your faith into?

  • This is because if a cat turned into a dog, it would HAVE to stop meowing. If it continued to meow, it is still a cat and therefore has not been converted. I say this to show that we are an evil race, and without the power of God, we will continue to be evil. A cat cannot turn itself into a dog, only something supernatural can occur to change a cat into a dog. Therefore, we can not be saved unless a supernatural work of God occurs on our lives. Jesus Christ died, not to save EVERY human being.

  • The honest Christian belief is that EVERY human being on this face of the Earth is evil and God hating. We are all born cats, only able to meow because of our nature. When we are converted, we turn into dogs. Therefore, we stop meowing and begin to bark. This is Christianity. The fact that all of us are born evil, with only the ability to do evil. But if God has truely saved us, we will stop being evil and begin to do good. If we continue to do evil though, we have not truely been converted.

  • Honestly, all men deserve to go to Hell. Why? We all have sinned and all were born in sin. The just punishment of sin is sending us to Hell, the blame is on us. So yes, some are given a revelation and some aren't. We should first of all be astonished at the fact that he has decided to allow ANY of us to be saved. So yes, some people not being given a revelation IS part of God's part! And Jesus will be glorified because at the end of time every unbelieving knee will bow and confess Christ as Lord

  • lol, that's a good one. :D
