What a crock of Afro-centric crap. Apparently "Dr." Karenga didn't let a couple of inconvenient facts get in the way of his Kwanzaa fairy tale.
1. Swahili is spoken on the EAST shore of Africa and AMERICAN Blacks descend from WEST coast Africa.
2.These "Principles" are HIS creation & I wonder what "principles" he embraced when he tortured 2 women with electrical cords & a soldering iron to scar them.
He is a fake and so is Kwanzaa.

honey. Ya funny. And please lets educate ourselves . Kwanzaa is the african-American ( type of christmast). but it is not a religious festivity. it is celebrated around the christmast time around 26 dec. And last 1 week. Each day A theme is celebrated, for example : Self-determination , etc... Kwanzaa was invented in 1966
