  • Hey, when I run cowbells, I usually run a shorter distance for lures ( 3-5') and when using bait, I run a longer setup for when the fish are finiky (3-6').

  • great info! I have been playing around with leader length. I'm mostly fishing for lakers, brown and rainbows. I use cowbells alot, usually with a decent size flutter spoon. I have ran them from 6" to 3' back. The spoon seems to have better action further back, but how far is to far from an attractor like cowbells?
