@Clarissa1026 ..... no, they're not necessarily "sellouts", the sad, unfortunate reality is that forced assimilation has taken its horrible toll on Natives. That's why you see too many doing white things! I truly believe that if Turtle Island has total immersion schools where NOTHING BUT the traditional ways are taught, then you will see how much better things will improve with the lives of all Native ppl! The Maoris of NZ have theirs and look how things drastically improved.

Navajo. There the new white race! Disrespect for the land, people, their forefathers! Long gone people the "Dine". All the young tryin to be more black then the rappers on em Mp3 tvs radio. @AstroAntaAposAnarch I don't know, but I do know that I wrote "fortified" instead of "mortified" ha. I guess the situation is comparable to why Americans voted for Bush the second time. The people were promised things and the leader couldn't deliver. I'm curious as to why you asked.

Although I myself would like to see the established government order abolished, I am not quite ready to brace myself or my family for a wave of anarchy. I wouldn't be surprised if mobs began storming your reservations not long after.

Sell out Indians are any Native America Indian who does not wear their moccassins on a daily basis; who does not prayer on a daily basis; and who denies/has shame for their culture; driving a car instead of riding a horse or walking; we are all "sell outs". If you do not speak your native language, YOU ARE A SELL OUT TOO.
