  • Not to be argumentative but the Allman Brothers were playing southern rock(and the term was used back then ) in 68-69.BTW I am pretty old

I dug these guys back in the early 70s though.

  • the guy playing lead guitar on this is my cousin, Les. the lead singer, George, is doing the singing. POTLIQUOR was "southern rock" before the term "southern rock" was ever used.

  • Love this. Thanks for getting me the experience of buying the album in a second hand store and putting it on when I get home!

  • That break at the beginning is f---ing deadly!!!

  • this is a very very cool song and a classic video well done

  • Saw them in Fat City..during the disco days...

  • i had this LP, i think it was called Louisiana Rock'n Roll, luved it! now i only have a few songs from that album on a cassette

  • the singer and guitarist in this band, les miller, is a friend of mine and my bosses at my work. he stops by every now and then and gets on guitar and melts my face off. my boss and his wife have a band called run jane run in baker louisiana and les used to play with them. cool guy
