I feel like a kid again watching my cartoons on an 80s TV set. Heathclliff, Looney Toons: The Bugs Bunny and Road Runner Show, and Transformer cartoon movie.

@Nokorola you can usually find them on the street for nothin on trash day,,, just wait, about 10 years from now, these flat panels will be out on the curb too ! LOL

@russellsteinhauer I noticed that on older model tvs and radios, the reception is great, but on the newer black case models, you cant get crap! I think the newer models were built with the thought in mind that everyone will have Cable!

i want one of those, it looks like they have strong tuners, like you said you didnt have a antenna hooked up and those channels came in pretty clear

Older TVs do have much better tuners. But the really good ones are the true analog tuners. I remember one night I was picking up UHF stations from Canada (about 150+ miles away) with just a loop antenna.
A shame in less than a month now that I have to use a converter box to do anything over the air (although I plan on building a small TV transmitter).
