http://www.ascent2change.co.uk Thanks to one of my reviewers, Sarah Cooper, for pointing me to research suggesting around 47% of the employee population is secretly looking for another job. On Friday I mentioned that retention was one of the reasons talent management has become so popular. Some organisations focus their energies on retaining the brightest and the best. Whereas really proactive organisations see talent management as an organisation wide activity and realise that when the economic climate changes at least 47% of their workforce will be looking to move on. Now what is that going to cost the organisation in terms of lost productivity, profitability and lost opportunities?
Another reason for seeing talent management as an inclusive activity.
