This is an upscaled version of the presentation video for the AGV, the Automotrice Grande Vitesse, as produced by the French company Alstom. There is no official HD version available, but I feel that there should be one so I attempted to do so.
AGV is an Alstom trademark.

@drummerhellas Very much so. My favourite train of all time is the ICE 1, yet I know it is technically quite flawed. Stranger still, I don't like the ICE 2 much, and it's almost identical in design and technical specs. Which goes to show what a subtle change (such as the changes required to fit an autocoupler) can do to a design. Logical it isn't. But that's just the way it goes sometimes. XD

@UraeusAnkhAmon I forgot to say that the best travels i ever made was with Greek Intercity DMUs class 650 made by AEG - LEW - Bautzen on late 80s. These trains had a revolutionary design, and they re still in service. Very comfortable for passengers, especially the 1st class coaches... search for "AEG 520" and you will see it!

@drummerhellas I preferer Siemens, the ICE 3 if way better than any TGV and I have ridden them all, even the Eurostar and Thalys.

I think Alstom is the best railway products company in the world. Unfortunatelly here in Greece, Greek railways prefers to buy from Bombardier or Siemens... Pitty because Alstom makes great trains!!!
