NUSCO @ XXXII Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions 2009

Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions, is also known as International Meetings of Musical Youth and has been held in Bydgoszcz since 1977. The aim of this event is to present on a wide scale the artistic achievements of vocal groups, dance and musical bands, to popularize Polish music, folk culture and tradition, to establish contacts and exchange experience, as well as to ensure the artistic and active rest for the youth.

Polish and foreign amateur groups working in different genres participate — choirs and chamber orchestras, folk ensembles, early music or bandura bands, brass orchestra as well as jazz and popular bands, modern dance groups. Participants age do not exceed 25 years. Performers are required to have at least one Polish work in their repertoire. The Artistic Council decides on two awards during the festival: Grand Prix the Ministry of Education Award for the best performer and the Ministry of Culture Award for the best performance of the Polish composers work.
