Superman Archive volume 1 review by DC comics. It contains the first 4 issues of the Superman series. But each issue is 64 pages of material. So this volume is over 240 pages.

A great book of early Superman stories. Worth tracking down if you are a Superman fan. Want to read old comic material. Or are a fan of DC comics and want to sample their early books.

  • ok so lemme get this straight, in order to get the 2-6 that's missing from superman action comics archive book, u need this but, it's not the original action 2-6, it's like a redo? cuz i noticed it says superman instead of action comics.

  • @deejmm138 Hey thanks for watching. :-) Yes I know it's confusing. In the Action Comics archive. They have the 1st Superman story as it originally saw print, unaltered. Then skip 2-6. In the Superman archive, they have issue 1 with the additional pages that were originally cut out. Plus they got Action Comics issues 2-6. Those issues were not altered. Basically the first Superman only book, reprinted the contents of Action Comics 1-6.

  • Great review man!!!

  • @MudbloodWizard Thanks for watching. :-)

  • Great review! That's a lot of pages for 4 issues. I like graphic novels over single issue comics.

  • @MaximilianXanadu Thanks and yeah I prefer the books better. Single issue comics are too expensive now anyway.

  • @ComicToyReviews and also you're not left with a cliff hanger on the books like you are with single issues.

  • @ActionFiguresUnited Thanks and cool catch up on that comic reading! :-)

  • Awesome review!

I fell behind on my comic reading... made a trip to my local comic shop for the first time in months the other day. I'm finally starting to catch up on most of my series. It felt good to sit back and read some books again this past weekend.
