This is a short video where we explain a few Nepali words you can try. If you are traveling alone and have no pickup at the airport, pick your choice, flat fee rate or go by the meter.

Bargain is common so use it so you do not get ripped off. There has been complains of huge fee by metered taxi and even flat fee simply because travelers failed to know about the knowledge of Bargaining which takes place in third world countries like Nepal.

Learning a few Nepali, Bargaining Technique and acting as if you have already been to Nepal are two simple techniques among others which could help you get the best deal from taxi from Airport to your hotel.

Hope you learn something from this video. Some did not like this (OLD MAN, me) and had to use animated characters, but some now are requesting this OLD MAN to show up. Hence in this video you see the man. Please use the content of the video, request more words to translate into Nepali to help you instead of complaining about the character. Have a better video than this ? why not respond to this video. We love to encourage others to do the best while we do little things to share what we know about the land.
