I love how a Offensive player can lower his head and ram the Defense player, helmet 1st and not get a spearing penalty....also with stiff arm where they grab defender's face mask and push him away. That MNF Miami game, he must of had about a dozen of those stiff arms.

@Zhongguotong1960 Never won a super bowl and only played 8 years. unfair, yes. but feature backs and qbs are judged by that standard.

Earl is easily top 10, LOL, not in the top 50?!!!! Come'on
-
man you have to give it to him hust for playing it like a man every snap smashmouth ultimate respect for earl.

Earl Campbell ran with violence. He gave his body to the game, and we need to remember that he is suffering for it now with all kinds of physical problems. He was one of the last true football warriors.
-
Shaun Alexander was one of the softest runningbacks ever. Good runner, but no heart and no courage.
-
@tng150 Earl was too humble, truth
-
@sandythebear not really, brandon jacobs is much bigger than him and isn't as good as trucking through people, he's kind of just hard to wrap, also I'm pretty sure Earl didn't trash talk as much as Brandon Jacobs.

@Fnoel98356 Yea like I said, I hate Shaun Alexander, people say he was one of those guys who just trucks through players but he was only succesful because he was just a good runner, he just reminds me a little bit of Earl Campbell that's all.
