@progressiveturtle No actually, from what I can make out, Tom Sawyer and YYZ were played on the Jazz Bass. The 4001 was used for Limelight(according to Geddy), so they sound similar.

I also have a blast on slap too with that bass(as u could see and hear on others of my vids).But it's really sounds awsome with my latest amps set-up...Hartke and Fender pluged in stereo(I sent u my latest vid with my bandmate on La Villa Strangiato)

Does this bass have a wide range of tone? I don't really like the geddy lee sound but i like that style of basses.

@bigbadbass1 This bass is just AMAZING !! U can get the tone u like and rock that bass as much as u want ! I got 3 basses,and I surely tell u,if I have to keep only one,that will be this one !
